Springfield Ballet Company presents the "best of" Rockballet featuring LIVE MUSIC provided by the newly-formed, multi-talented band, Downstate.

Downstate features some of the area's most talented musicians and vocalists. The band consists of: Damien Kaplan on Vocals, Keyboard, Drums/Percussion and Vibraphone; Mary Kate Smith on Vocals and Keyboard; David Anderson on Keyboards; Scott Nichols on Guitar; Brian Earleywine on Guitar; Robb Stark on Bass; and Mike Wallace on Drums/Percussion and Vocals. Special guests for Downstate's performances of Rockballet: LIVE also include: Brock Bennett on Saxophone; Roy Lowery on Violin; and Kristen Anderson on Vocals. The band will showcase its talent and diversity by covering songs by legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Dave Matthews Band, Florence and The Machine, Stevie Wonder and Adele - just to name a few!

Since its 1994 debut, SBC's annual production of Rockballet continues to be daringly different. The brainchild of SBC Artistic Director, Julie Ratz, Rockballet is a vivid and exciting mix of adventurous choreography, memorable music and high-intensity dancing. A multimedia celebration of dance and rock music, Rockballet has had a stunning impact on the way central Illinois views classical dance.

It is music visualized.

This season marks the Springfield Ballet Company's 18th annual production of Rockballet. Don't miss it!

**Springfield Ballet Company follows the same guidelines as the Sangamon Auditorium Ticket Office as it relates to ticket sales. 

Sangamon Auditorium policy is as follows:

No refunds or exchanges between events.

Ticket exchanges are allowed within the same show or run of shows. There is a one dollar charge per exchanged ticket; patrons are responsible for any difference between the time and/or zone pricing. However, there are no refunds for the price difference. Ticket exchanges must be done in person at the Ticket Office. The tickets previously purchased must be returned at the time of exchange.

All convenience and handling fees are non-refundable. In the case of a show cancellation, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.
